The design for this brat is heavily inspired by the anatomy of bats, and the mythology of vampires. It features a latex headpiece with the details of a bats face, including the nose, ears, and wide mouth. The varicose skin is symbolic of restraint, and offer a bit of an “undead” appearance.

Diving deeper into the symbolism of this design, it is meant to personify foreplay — most specifically sensual biting. Throughout vampire mythology there is the idea of it as a curse or disease that can be passed between biter and bitten. I wanted to take this idea, and flip it on its head. Foreplay is all about excitement, and turning each other on. This is what the Vampire lives for. Playing with its prey, and turning them on. Passing on their gift of eternal euphoria and appetite for pleasure.
